Judaism
It was found by:
1. Abraham: as first Hebrew and father of the Jewish people. "He rejected the idea of idolatry (worship of any cult image, idea, or object) and embraced monotheism". As a reward for his faith to God he was promised many children. Christianity and Islam are sometimes referred to as the Abrahamica religions because of the role that he pays in their holy books.
2. Isaac: second son of Abraham follow his father's footsteps. He "inherit the land of Israel after having been exiled and redeemed".
3. Jacob: "God send him and his children to Egypt, where after many generations they became enslaved".
4. Moses: later God commanded Moses to redeem the Israelites from slavery, leading to the Exodus (term used for the escape, departure and emancipation of the enslaved Israelites freed from Ancient Egypt.) from Egypt.

When and where was it found:
1. Judaism started around 2000 BCE - 1500BCE
2. It was found in the area of mesopotamia and then moved to Canaan now know as Israel and Lebanon.

Judaism beliefs

Judaism connections to other religions:
  • Judaism is connected to Islamic and Christianity because of the connection that Abraham has with the holy book of this two religions.


Jewish's use the synagogue as their worship place and the Torah as their Holy Book.
